So I was reading an earlier post about update KB3102810 and I saw a list of updates that have telemetry. I went down that list and found one out of all of them installed on my system.

Is finding this update in the control panel uninstall area good enough to remove or is there a special way to remove the one I have? BTW KB3065987 dated 7-14-2015 is the one

No, finding it does not.

Windows update> Installed Update. Find the KB you wish to remove, you can use searchbox, upper right corner, right-click it, choose>uninstall.

Or you can run this in elevated command prompt:

wusa /uninstall /KB:2506928 /quiet /norestart

Attached batch file has all the questionable optional updates you can edit it.

Right-click, choose>edit. It will open in notepad. Change, add or remove entries. replace the number after the ":" with the KB you wish to uninstall.

Be careful you don't remove the ":" entry, as it will cause error. If the KB isn't installed, quiet suppresses the error prompt & program will continue to run.

Hope you find the info helpful. ;)

No problem, I enjoy helping others (or at least trying)

If I can provide any additional info/assistance, please feel free to ask.
