microsoft virtual PC

every time i open the program, it tells me that my operating system is not supported. i am running win 7 home premium. does anyone have a clue as to what might be going on?

Which version of Virtual PC are you trying to run? Virtual PC 2007 doesn't work with Windows 7, in case that's what you are trying to use.

MS Virtual PC 2007 cannot run on win7 as long as Windows Virtual PC is installed. Uninstall Windows VPC and VPC 2007 should run.

To remove Windows Virtual PC:

1. Open Control Panel.
2. Under Programs, click Uninstall a program.
3. In the left pane, click View installed updates.
4. Under Microsoft Windows, double-click Windows Virtual PC (KB958559).
5. Restart the computer to finish the removal

Just use VirtualBox and all of your problems will be solved.

Both VirtualBox and VMware Player 3.x are far better applications and work just fine with Windows 7. I would use one of them instead.
