Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
It's a compatibility update to upgrade so I would expect it to be a good thing to download if your really intending on upgrading

Hi,
Installing all of the compatibility updates might give you a heads up of possible issues upgrading
Once a long time ago M$ had a upgrade advisor a person could download and get a report = I miss those simple days
Now we must download several windows updates and not get a quick compatibility report afterwards :/
Not sure when or if a report is given to a not compatible device I guess if you receive the win-10 update in August you'll know

The update checks the latest data on MS's servers every few days to check - clicking on the icon, you can see if there are any issues, and what's needed to deal with them..
