Hello robby10101

1+3. You dont say what OS you are installing. I assume you are wanting to install Windows 7, as this is a Windows 7 forum. However, the hardware you seek to buy is not compatible with Windows 7. So, if you are buying new hardware, like Ryzen 5 3600, then you'd be better off installing Windows 10.

2. Install to NVMe SSD if you can afford it, and motherboard supports it. Otherwise a SATA SSD.

4+5 New motherboards and the Ryzen 5 3600 support PCIe 4.0 now, so get a card that is compatible with PCIe 4.0. Get PSU that is compatible with Graphics card.

7. The new multi-core processors run quite hot, so sooner or later you might want to upgrade the stock cooler, to get the best performance in gaming.

Hope that helps.

There are several people who have used this Forum to try and install Windows 7 on Ryzen hardware. Mostly, these people have bought the hardware before realising that the two were not compatible, so they come here seeking for a way out. You can search yourself; search "Ryzen" in the search box in the top-right hand corner of the Forum web-page. I have read a few, and none of them come back to the Forum saying they got is working, therefore I am not going to gamble your money on something that probably wont work, I say $800 is at risk, and you currently are not seeking to invest wisely. :o sorry
