mingwm10.dll missing

I recently installed code blocks C compiler on my win 7 PC.

It worked fine for a day or so but will now not launch. An error message appears stating that file 'mingwm10.dll is missing'

Any suggestions as to what this file is, why it is missing, and what I can do to remedy the situation?

Just a wild guess - Perhaps your anti-virus quarantined it?

Do you have System Restore enabled? If so you could install ShadowExplorer and see if you can find a version of it while it was working?
