Minimizing my window while scrolling

When I am scrolling on the right side of my screen, I generally grab the scroll bar and pull it down; however, if I let my mouse glide to far to the right, windows automatically minimizes my screen and takes me either to the desk top or what ever I happen to have open under the current window. Also, I occasionally click on the tinny button to the right of the clock by accident, which has the exact same effect. I have never done either of these things on purpose, and every time it happens, it makes me want to throw my computer into a wall. Does anyone know if there is any way to disable this feature?

Thanks!

You can disable aero peek so when you hover over the button it doesn't show the desktop. About totally geting rid of the button I don't believe you can but I can be wrong. Anyways to get rid of Aero peek just right click on the button next to the clock and remove the check mark next to peek desktop and it should remove the feature. Now you should be able to hover your mouse over it without having it take you to the desktop unless you click on it.
