Missing 250 gb off hard dive out of a 1000 gb

Hi Y'all,

I'm looking for help for a problem that's been bugging me for two days. I've noticed that ever since I installed an upgrade of Windows 7 from Vista, I've "lost" 250 gb hard drive out of 1 tb hard drive.

Both Disk Managment and Acronis Disk Suite show the proper amount of 915 GB, but for the life of me I can't figure out where the rest of the drive disappeared to.

Any help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated!:geek:

P.S.

Windows Explorer show c:\ with 665 gb hard drive and 426 gb free, with a total of 250 gb missing?

Well, that certainly is odd. Although disk management shows the proper amount at the bottom, the top doesn't show the right amount. I cannot say that I have noticed that personally. I'd have to do some google searching and technet reading to see what might cause that. However, I gotta take my daughter to dance class in a few minutes...so I cannot search now.
