missing boot manager

[Sligo]

This mornings boot ended with boot manger missing. I used a recue disk with same result. Then used the W7 OS disk with same result. Is the missing boot manager somewhere in the MB firmware?
I be dead in water and need help.

1st things 1st, make sure the hard drive isn`t loose, you just don`t get that message for no apparent reason.

Although it`s a boot manager message, take it easy, try Wolfgang`s suggestion then post back your results before you go any further.
