Did you burn the cd after downloading from microsfot etc yourself or is it a retail copy?

Try it again and write the error code down,it could be a driver its missing, which you will need to get and load manually by click Install>Advanced>Load Driver

Are you upgrading or a clean install?

"Windows cannot install required files. The file may be corrupt or missing. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart installation. Error code 0x80070570". That's the exact error message

I've seen this before. It's probably caused by a read error from your dvd drive. If you have another computer and a 4 gb flash drive or an external HDD available, try copying all the files from the dvd to the flash drive (be sure to format it to factory default settings) then set the bios in your target computer to boot from usb. Be sure to connect it before powering on.. that should eliminate the error

copied it to my external hdd..then tried to install..same problem occurs...

If you used the same dvd drive when trying to copy the disk as you did when trying to install, you'd probably get the same results. The idea is to try to eliminate possible causes. Missing components usually means something didn't get copied during the install. Likely causes are jarring the computer at some time when it's trying to read the DVD, a bad install disk, dirt/dust/fingerprints on the DVD. There are other not so likely possibilities, but I'm taking the assumption that you haven't had many problems with your system prior to this. Try it from a different computer. If you don't have one.. see if a friend will do it for you. Not sure what hardware you have, but I'm also assuming it passes the minimum recommended specs.

this remains to be unsolved..

You never did post what kind of hardware you're using.. that's relevant information. For example, certain Dell SATA drivers will cause this error. There are lots people here who know enough to help you solve your problem. Just be patient
