Missing cursor in screen shot

When I hover my mouse over something the finger cursor appears. However I can't seem to get a screen shot of the cursor. I get this result without the finger. I have tried with snip tool and printscreen key. A quick google search resulted in must have high powered graphics editor program. Any suggestions on a free program that would work. thanks, lm

Found what I needed in Irfan View. Open program,keystroke on letter c opens a screen shot window with a include mouse cursor check box, results are what I wanted.
