I have folders in "my documents" named images-2011, images-2012, images-2013. When I add image files to images-2013, the folder Is no longer displayed. When I browse in e.g. Photoshop,the folder is not listed. If I type in the path manually it opens the folder. Reorganizing the file system doesn't to help. If I use Windows explorer to copy the folder the new folder appears. There are thousands of files in the folder. Is there a limit on number of files or the size of the folder? If is not just photoshop that has the problem. New dell workstation, Xeon processor, 16 GB ram. Unfortunately, the problem does not occur for every file that s edited.
