Hi, I'm kind of new to all the computer troubleshooting problems, so I thought that this community might be able to help me solve my problem.
About a week or two ago I've started to get a popup message saying "There was a problem starting C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\482662839Wsy.dll The specified module could not be found."
I've tried running CCleaner to fix this problem, but it still pops up. Can someone tell me what I could do?

Anartic, I recommend that you open an elevated Command Prompt (right click and run as admin) and type this:
Code:
sfc /scannow

This is sometimes old school but when I used to have this happen in WinXP and had no idea what dll it was i just opened notepad and didn't write a thing in it and saved it as the the DLL file.
In your case 482662839Wsy.dll and saved the file in my system32 directory under Windows.

I just looked at the path it was asking.
Just go to that Temp directory and you can delete all the files there as they are all expendable.
Then I would download and run the free CCleaner and clean your registry.

My 2 cents.

More Information.
I removed the numbers and searched the internet for Wsy.dll
and it says it is part of a keylogger.
Not good. Run your virus scanner and Malware and see what you find.

More Information
If you have MS defender working it can also find and remeove the keylogger.
Open Windows Defender by clicking the Start button .
In the search box, type Defender, and then, in the list of results, click Windows Defender. Scan for spyware and other potentially unwanted software.

I just did a full scan with Windows Defender and it came out with nothing, I'm about to try out Lordbob's suggestion.

Edit: Doing the Command Prompt also came out with no problems. Any other suggestions?

It seems that it is in Windows registry or in your startup directory.
Have you used CCleaner to clean your Registry? See pic.

Yeah, I've tried been running CCleaner to clean the Registry at least once every 2 or 3 days, but it doesn't have any issues.

try a manual search of the registry for 482662839Wsy. it may take awhile but there should be something in the registry referencing that file. odds are if it was a keylogger it would still be on your system. i am more apt to think something you installed just did not do a very good job cleaning up after itself. i have had this happen under xp and vista.

Okay, I just found some files referencing it, do I delete it now or what?

Well this is what came up, so I'm guessing its referencing it, but I'm not exactly sure.

Okay, I did as you said and I just restarted my computer after deleting the sysinfo and I stopped getting the pop-up, I'm not sure if the .dll was a virus or not, but it fixed the main problem I had, thanks.

more than likely it was not a virus. it was more likely the reference leftover from something you uninstalled.
