Solved Missing Driver - Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller

Hi,

As the title says, I cannot find this driver.

So far I have uninstalled my chipset driver and reinstalled the latest one from ASUS. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the USB 3.0 driver (NEC Electronics USB3.0 Host Controller + Root Hub). I have installed the AMD USB 3.0 driver on the Lennovo site as I read this was a universal driver and not just for Lennovo.

However, I still have this missing driver. Any suggestions on what I can try next?

I think all my specs are in my profile but can post again if necessary.

Install or reinstall the Intel Motherboard chipset drivers. See if that helps.

Thanks very much for the reply, really appreciate it.

Just noticed that I had not updated my current spec to my profile, so you wouldn't have known I had an AMD processor. However, I had already done as you suggested and made sure my Chipset drivers were updated.

Luckily I managed to find a solution and it turned out the missing driver was "Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller" which I have now installed.
