Missing Emails

Hi Everyone. I went back to Windows 7 home premium 64 bit about a couple weeks ago, & the thing I noticed after setting up windows essentials 2011 is that I didn't see all of my emails in my inbox. I only have about 150 emails at the moment, but I think I should have double that. I can understand that emails from deleted & sent folders will disappear. windows live mail is my main email client. In all the years of reinstalling operating systems, I've never had anything like this happen before. I installed windows essential 2012 & Thunderbird but got the same number of emails. I deleted some old emails from 2 years ago before the new year when I was using windows 10, before backing up my hard drive 1TB 6gb ram for good measure. I'm looking for emails from late 2020 up until now. I"m considering reinstalling windows 7 hp by pressing F11 multiple times as I've done in the past, but I thought I'd wait until I got an answer here for a solution.

I'm using a pop3 server incoming 110 when the outgoing is 587. I've had no troubles using my shaw email account when the homeowner is connected to Telus. I also have a gmail account. I hope this helps
