missing file when zipping or compressing folder

I have a very weird issue that is happening on more than 1 PC. When we zip or compress files to create one zip file, 1 file is always missing! the only way we can get around this is to open up WinZip and drag all the files in. How come we can't zip in windows 7! very frustrating.

Is the one file that is always missing the ONE file you right click on when everything is highlighted?

Can you try this for me?

Install 7-zip and use that to create the zip file.

that is what we are using for a work around, but that isnt solving the issue.

Highlight all of the files you want to add into a zip file, while holding CTRL down, right click on one of the files and choose the add to zip option.

nope, still missing whatever what I right click on.

What version of winzip do you have? I suggest getting the newest version and seeing if the problem persists.
