I have a problem that just arose when I turned on my PC this AM, All my desk top icons are missing, the widgets are still there and everything seams to work as usual. I tried a restore to 2 days back, but no change. The only thing that I know of that was installed yesterday was a windows update. Not sure as to what or why this happened. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit OS, and am using a picture as a desktop. Was working great when I shut it down yesterday. Am running a Dell with 2GB RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo [email protected]. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think I could feel any dumber right now. Thank You, that was it, not sure why it happened. Still learning this new OS. Only had it less than 2 weeks.

No Problem, It's often the easiest fix that gets overlooked.:)
Glad you got it working, and Welcome to the Forum.
