Missing MGR !!!!!!!

BootMGR is missing !!!!!!!!!!!

Hello !
I took out my other PC's HDD and connected to my new PC ( just transfer data to new HDD ) , i did a stupid action , i forgot that is my window drive , so i right click and format everything in that C: drive. I thought i can reinstall window by my DVD , but when i start my PC , there is a sentence said : " missing MGR " , i can not boot it by my DVD too .
My HDD devide to 4 Drives , C: D: E: F: ( the last 3 drives still have some data ) but C has gone everything

but my HDD has not any OS window now cause i did a mistake formating

is the dvd drive set as the first boot device in the BIOS? if not, set it as first, then you should be able to boot using the windows install disk.

i set DVD drive to 1st boot too , but it's still does not work

do you have a working windows7 installation DVD? what happens when you start the computer with it?

when i start , the screen just show up this message because has no OS window install on it. There was a OS before , but i took out this harddrive and plug into my other computer to copy some data. Then i forgot this is the OS window drive , i did formating everything in that drive ... then... now... !!! can i install an OS window from my other computer and bring back to my old computer which is has trouble.

you could try, but you will probably get a ton of errors unless the hardware is exactly the same. not to mention the activation issues.

i guess you dont have a win7 dvd?

yeah ! i do not have DVD win 7 , just XP 64 only , cause i upgraded to win 7 pro from XP 64bit as a student package , digital download . I have a DVD win 7 , but it's Homepremium 64bit. Not professional one
but i put the Xp 64bit , it does not work too
my old HDD is Western 640GB , and my other HDD is 2TB western ,too

you should be able to use the home premium x64 dvd to fix the mbr. you might have to run it 3 times in a row, before it fixes everything:
