Solved missing movie maker

did a clean install on my Toshiba l675d new win7 h p 64 bit Tried custom first, then did the clean. wmm is missing only place to find is in complete back up on external canvio 3t hard drive, I can move that to my 2t if needed. 3t won't restore just movie maker complete back is in code? do complete restore to 2t , desk top; How can I extract movie maker from complete back up. Tried to download movie maker in windows live, complete, in part with sky drive and photo; then with just photo and movie maker. Seems windows does no have mm for win 7 home premium 64 bit

to all thanks for being quick. tried the install offered said sky drive would be installed, all others would be updated, one windows download, windows live I think said pick your system for win 7 h p 64 bit no movie maker.Got to get that file out of complete back up somehow. Thanks much; robie

You only need to choose Movie Maker from the downloads list, unless you want the others.




If it says that Movie Maker is already installed, look in Control Panel>Programs and Features. Is it there? If so look in Start>All PRograms for it. If not there uninstall the old one and install it again from the Download.

Thanks for all the help. I have downloaded mm many now if I can only get a successful install. all my downloads did not install mm. there is no mm for win7 h p 64 bit. check it out.

Did you type Movie Maker in the Start button Search box to see if it's already installed?
