I just bought a Titan black and I put it in my computer connected the power cables but when I go to boot it says plug in pcie power cables what did I miss?
Dominick mate now rather obvious but you installed the drivers I guess?? You could also try reseating the card and power cables to it.
Do you have any way of checking the power cables are actually carrying power?? I suppose another obvious answer to that would be do the fan/s start up??

Now I am a little confused as to what is the cup?? Plus I take it you are running two GPU's of differing brands?? Again I am thinking there may be some compatibility issues with what you are trying to set up. Some specific specs would be good Dominick.

It may be a new board but still not work. Make sure the board is snugly inserted in PCIE slot.
Are you able to check voltages at those 2 power connecters. I can't readily find the voltages but
should be in your specs book. I do know one 75-Watt 6-pin and one 150-Watt 8-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors. But the system power supply must also have a maximum combined +12 Volt rails continuous current rating of 38 Amps or greater.
Many times, especially with something you never saw work, it has to be subed out with a new one
or at least one that has worked. Just a suggestion.
Dominick as I did in post#2 and Baddog later reseating and check the power on those cables they should be yellow 12v black 0v of course. The volts should be within 5% of the required volts ie 11.4v and 12.6v or it may damage or cause a non function of that (or any other) components .
I would like you to do this please
Using HW Info PART A: You can test the volts on the PSU with HW Info HWiNFO, HWiNFO32/64 - Download <download the right bit version and close the right hand window select Sensorsand scroll down to the power section where you will see what the volts aredoing see my pic. Now the section you want will be labelled - fpr example Asusboards usually have "Nuvoton" and Gigabyte boards "ITE" inany case the section you want will have Vbatt or VBAT in it (dead give away) The original right hand window shows the machine running and is handy for thatbut for looking at the components in some detail close it and use the main lefthand side panel FOR OTHER COMPONENTS PART B: Open each small square with + in it on the section the components are in andthen click on the individual component/s (it will highlight in blue) - in theright hand side will appear all sorts of details including brands speeds andother essential info that particular device. See pic for example. Use PART A: - B: is useful for other components.
Now to assess what you need for a power supply in your machine you can get a fairly good idea using this eXtreme Power Supply Calculator
Edit mate scroll down that window until it gets to the section which shows battery volts and capacities please - haven't got a pic on this machine.
