Hello all...first post so take it easy on me. I've been trying to figure this out and it may have already been discussed but I was unable to find it. Here's my deal...
Had a 1TB HDD hooked up and shared across my Homegroup and everything was working fine...until we had a power surge. I lost that HDD for good. I've replaced that 1 with 2 different TB drives. With my new HDD, I've tried to set up a share with the same name but found that the old share names are still in use so it's creating them with a number at the end of it. I've gone in to MMC and tried to delete the reference to the old share but I get an error every time...
Can anybody help me out with this error? I know I could just change the share name to something else but I would like to see if I can get this figured out before I take that route.
Thanks in advance for any help!!
