Missing system files

Morning all, I have a Dell Inspiron N5110 , laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium, SP1, 64 bit. It came with no disc, but has the Windows 25 digit product key on back. Plenty of RAM and hard drive space ,500Gb plus. The Inspiron progress bar gets to about one third, then Windows boot manager shows its ugly face. " Windows failed to start, to fix the problem, insert installation disc, choose language then click repair computer."

I created a Win 7 disc online, pressed F2, F12, F8 pressed the C button, tried last known good configaration. But no joy. When I hit enter it says CHOOSE an operating system, windows 7 is highlighted hit enter again and it goes back to the previous screen.
how can I get the file onto laptop if I can even download the system file.
Any help would be much appreciated,bring back the floppy.

Fist thing is to create a Factory recover disks. The files to create the disks are on a Factory recover partition. You can probably launch the application to create the disks from BIOS.

I'm a little confused: Are you trying to install Win 7 or you are trying to boot your laptop (with original Dell Win7)?
If you are trying to boot your laptop, what happened to it to be in this situation? Was after a fall, a new software, virus removal etc?
As you have the installation disk, boot with it, choose repair - Terminal.
Run dir c: to see if it is your laptop disk. Then run chkdsk c: /f to see if it finds any disk errors.
