Hi I just installed Win7 64-bit today and am having problems with the screen adjustment. I am able to adjust gamma and brightness but have no way to adjust the contrast.

I have tried installing the driver but get "This operating system is not supported." It is the 64-bit Vista one off of the HP page for my computer.

I was wondering if there is another driver out there to get the Intel Graphics Properties Menu or another way to change contrast.

Thanks

EDIT: Sorry, this may belong in the driver forum.

I have the same chipset you have and my display works on x86 and x64. However, the defaults for the Intel driver DOES NOT have the ability to change contrast unfortunately. That said, I can adjust brightness and resolution as needed. It looks ok to me.

Oh I just noticed you are new here. Welcome to Sevenforums.com!!!

Edit: What build of Windows 7 x64 are you using? You might try an upgrade to 7127.

Put the installer into Vista compatibility mode first.

Hi all
I have a laptop with this same chipset

just download from the INTEL site

or here

http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/GR...ator-Driver-15127511825-for-Win7-RC-x64.shtml

BTW NEVER EVER use driver detective or similar progralms

they are all SNEAKWARE.

They find the drivers but then you have to register i.e PAY for the download -- avoid these sites like the plague --
often they say "Free download" which means Free download of the "Search program" but not of the driver.

I've complained to the EU advertising standards authority about this type of SNEAKWARE -- but as I'm not filing against Microsoft or IBM I don't suppose the EU will care.

Cheers
