Solved Monitor Driver Install

I downloaded the monitor driver for my Samsung monitor from Samsung's site. I ran the file from my download folder, but the device manager still shows "Generic PnP monitor". Is that normal, or did I install it incorrectly?

Good advice.

For some reason, it seems that most of the monitor drivers I've installed had to be done this way. I suppose it's because there typically isn't any program associated with them.
