I'm using Samsung LCD 17'' SyncMaster 710N monitor.
I'm having some problems with picture on my monitor. The edges/borders/margines are
going curvy, but the text stands normal position.
It's like this shown on screenshot, letters in this box are in normal position, but
edges of this box are curvy. Anyone know what the problem might be? Monitor?

ps: You're going to see normal edges of this box, bcuz I took screenshot
so you won't be able to see the true state of problem. But those black lines shows how it really looks on my monitor.

I would try to update the NVIDIA driver and then sometimes Samsung monitors come with their own drivers, try that as well. Also, check that the output resolution coincides with the optimal resolution of the monitor.

I have updated nVIDIA drivers, and I have a CD with drivers for Samsung which came with my monitor, but
they're not compatible with Win7. =\

@agc
It's not about background, I have this problem with margines on internet also.

Gonna check this tutorial if that helps anything. I mean it's weird problem, like im having phatamorgana or ilussion.

Try Samsung website, sometimes they update their drivers. I have a Samsung monitor myself, the driver does get updated from time to time.

What are your resolution settings?

I'm thinking thats a monitor setting problem, not a windows problem. There should be a button on your monitor to open up a setup menu. I'd look for a reset to defaults option and see if things go back to being square again. If you don't want to reset all the settings look for a rhombus symbol in the menu and adjust that setting until things are squared back up. I've seen that setting on my CRT monitors but can't find it on my current LCD though? Are you using a DVI or VGA input signal to your monitor. If its a VGA signal I suppose it could be a video card problem.

It's VGA input. And no, it's not Windows problem for sure, 'cuz I re-installed fresh Win7.
It might be a video card, but it's weird, bcuz I bought new one few days ago.

Install the drivers for windows Vista, don't worry about it saying it doesn't work on windows 7, if you have to, go back to the Samsung site and get the proper drivers for the monitor. Try that and see if it helps you.

Did you try setting the monitor to defaults? I'm talking about the settings on the monitor itself, not in windows display settings. There should be buttons on the monitor to open up a setup menu that displays in a little window on the monitor itself. Stuff like brightness, contrast, screen position and size etc.
