Monitor keeps shutting down, it shouldn't

I've set the power options to never shut down the monitor, yet every 15 minutes or so of being idle it shuts down. Any thoughts?

i would set the power settings to default then reboot then change power settings to your choices reboot then see if that helps

Are you sure it's not the monitor itself shutting off? I know a lot of modern screens have 'power save' modes and shut off the screen, but I don't think they go off when there's still input from the computer... worth checking the screen's menus for though.

no worrys some times its best to set things to default and reboot windows resets the reg keys then. (if you feel like to rep me much appreciated)
