Hey guys. I have a slight problem. I have a Dell XPS7100 that I got yesterday. I tried to start it up and for some reason it is not full screen. I tried to adjust it through the controls on the monitor, that didnt work. Then i tried to adjust it through my computer i.e. through system preferences. Could it be the drivers or something? My graphics card it 1GB ATI® Radeon™ HD 5870 graphics card with Vision Black label and my monitor is DELL™ ST2410 24-inch Full HD Widescreen Monitor.

Thanks so much!

Ps, im connected with an HDMI cable...

Sounds like the underscan/overscan setting in CCC

Catalyst Control Centre - Graphics - Desktop & Displays - Right Click small HDTV at the bottom - Configure - Scalling - Underscan/Overscan - set to 0%

That shows where you go in CCC to fix the problem.

Secondly, the 10.9 Cat's bork the setting of Overscan properly (for some of us HDMI users).

GPU-78: ATI Catalyst

ATI Catalyst 10.9a Hotfix Feature:

* ATI Radeon™ HD 4870 X2 and ATI Radeon HD 4850 X2 series of products use both Graphics Processing Units (GPU) for high performance

Instructions:
Download and install the ATI Catalyst hotfix from the following location:

* ATI Catalyst 10.9a Hotfix for Windows® 7 / Windows Vista®
Click that ATI/AMD link to get the hotfix drivers.
