I've attempted a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium on a recently formatted hard drive multiple times. Each time right after the initial install screen, it gets to the "Completing installation..." portion and then the computer restarts. After booting back up, the monitor shuts off and nothing else happens.

Your display may be switching modes. How is the computer connected to the monitor and what type of monitor is it?
