Solved Monitor Sleep enable/disable/toggle

I was wondering what the easiest way to set my computer up for a quick toggle on turning the monitor sleep on and off... I watch a lot of stuff on mega video, and flash player doesn't prevent the monitors from going to sleep like media player... I'm open to any suggestions for the best solution. thanks.

Thanks for the reply... I'm looking for a shortcut method of achieving this. It is kind of a nuisance going through that before and after, every time I want to watch a video.

Hello Jim,

As a workaround, you can change the settings in two power plans. One for normal use, and one for when you want to watch a video. Afterwards, you can use the shortcuts in the tutorial below to make it real easy to toggle between these two different power plans with one click.

Tonight I was watching movie on my TV being broadcasted via HDMI from my Laptop.

It was annoying to force my laptop from dying every now and then. (Somehow I was not able to change power management settings to never sleep, don’t know why!!!)
