Monitor Tint

The best way to describe it is it looks like I'm viewing my monitor through polarized sunglasses. There's a yellow/green tint. It happened (coincidence?) after I burned a music CD using Windows Media Center. Prior to that and for the past year it's worked perfectly. It's NOT a monitor issue. The reason I'm sure is that I use the same monitor for my work computer, too (use a Belkin switch). The monitor looks fine when I'm viewing my work computer.

Things I've tried:
- Calibrated colors
- Checked for NVidia driver updates (mine are current)
- Downloaded all current Windows updates
- Uninstalled and reinstalled the video driver

check if there's an ICC for the monitor:

sounds like a cable has come loose conecting the KVM switch, have you tried just straight connection from the problem pc to the monitor?

Yes but have you checked the color settings? Don't know anything about Nvidia but here's ATI's tab.....

must admit, it sounds like a "Temperature" problem..
moving the slider up and down does produce some strange tinting effects..

can't recall where the settings are on an NVidia card..:huh:

Yeah that's the sole purpose of the temperature slider. Graphic artists, photographers find this setting very useful. Also some programs call them "White Points".

Anyway I've found that the settings on ATI's software is a bit wonky so I've bypassed it in favor of the software my monitor uses.

I would suggest the OP check video card's setting on the affected PC since he states in happens on one but not the other.
