Monitoring programs writing to C: drive

Is there a way to monitor which programs/tasks are writing the most to my SSD C: drive.
I have no hibernation file, and my page space is all on D:

It has taken me two years and four months to "wear out" my old OCZ Vertex4 and I'd like to find the culprits!

You should be able to see what is taking up your Drive space ...

Process Monitor from Windows Sysinternals can monitor writes to the SSD with the proper filters set.

I think I've stumbled upon the process that is caning my SSD C: drive... Shadow Storage (used for backups and the like)
I used the vssadmin command to get this:

So, every time I take a backup of my C: drive, I'm writing the shadow copy to C: — and it could be massive!

I'm wondering if I can move the Shadow storage for volume C: onto D: (a 1Tb "ordinary" internal drive)

Pushing it a bit further, I wonder if I can move the shadow storage onto my Drobo 5D disk array, which is USB3 connected. My first reason to suggest this is that the Drobo at least has an "activity" light, so I can see when it's being used!
