Solved More than two power schemes?

Hey i just wanted to know any way to increase the number of options for selecting power schemes in the system tray power icon(battery). Currently there are 2
(in my case 1.Power Saver 2.Balanced)
Can i add another one here itself(ex: 3.High Performance)? coz opening the power customization windows every time is cubersome (though it allows to select any of the schemes thereafter)

<Remember Vista ? we had these 3 options by default powersaver,balanced and highperformance when we clicked the system tray icon
maybe a registry edit could do the trick but i dunno much>

I've only known batch line operation exists. (plus custom hotkey maybe)

After research, I come up with FlyoutAutoPowerScheme. But don't know how to implement it.

Software such as "Power Plan Assistant", "Power Scheme Switcher", "SchemeHK", "Total Power Control" can also perform the job.

This is a very good question. I registered here only to ask this question and after quick search, it seems like I'm not the only one wanting this.

My laptop has 6 schemes in total (I have Czech language windows, so sorry for rough translation)

Power saving scheme
Balance
High performance
+
Ecological (I suspect that Toshiba drivers put this one here)

I also created two more
Power saving STEALTH (lowest performance, as less fan speed as possible)
& Gaming MAX (everything high, including fan)

So, when I click on battery icon in systray, I have just two there. For more of them, I have to click on "more" and then wait a second or two before this window loads, then select what I want and then close the window.



Seems like too much unnecessary steps to me. So if anyone knows how to do it, I'm all for it.

As a workaround, you could use the tutorial below to create shortcuts that will allow you to change or switch to the High Performance, Balanced, Power Saver, or a custom power plan instantly without having to go through Power Options in the Control Panel.

Thanks Shawn for warm welcome, as I plan to use Win 7 for next few years (and also to use notebooks), I'll try your suggestion and also these apps of previous poster, to find the path that will suit me best.

OK, I suppose it's part of my learning curve, these little distinctions between forum boards all over the internet, their policies, culture etc.

So on topic - I've tried PowerSwitch app and so far, it's going well. The only problem is that I seem to be unable to choose "AUTO" selection. It's gray and cannot be selected, while schemes can.
