Someone has said 140w max, however I can't find any supporting information.
A safe bet would be not to go over 95w, which a few people have also said.

will new cpu work with current mtherboard

Although the motherboard will support an AM3 processor after a BIOS update, there isn't any conclusive info. on the CPU wattage supported.

As suggested above, stick to the 95W limit or get a newer (better) motherboard.
