Hi guys,

I'm currently in the process of downloading updates and fixes for my Motherboard ASUS M4n82 deluxe.

I've downloaded all the files I want and have extracted them to individual folders and now I'm stumped.

They are .ROMS

Should I be cut and pasting them somewhere? Or is there some type of program to open/run/install them with?

Any advice or help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hello Bazerk,

It sounds like you have downloaded the latest BIOS.

If the PC is running fine, don't worry about it.

If you do want to, then you will need to copy that .ROM file onto a USB Pen drive and boot into BIOS.

ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support-

That is a walk through on how to update on an asus board.

But as i previously, if the PC is running fine and starting up normally and what not, then ignore those.

also, you should only use the latest ROM version. you dont need every single ROM file (if any). each successive version contains all the fixes/enhancements from the last.
