I just got this system built, configured, and setup; however I still have 8GB of DDR3, the motherboard an early i5 went in + case and 900w PSU, and EVGA geForce gt 220 just laying around.
Generally speaking, do Core 2 Duo sockets and 1st generation i3/i5/i7 sockets coexist? I cant check the make/model of the extra motherboard right now, I'm just wondering if it is even something I should pursue?
