Mouse and Keyboard Randomly Stop Working

Hi,

I've been recently having a few problems with my mouse and keyboard, generally it's the keyboard freezes, then my mouse goes (because I have a USB Hub incorporated into my keyboard and that's where my mouse is plugged in), this is really strange because I've been using the setup for over a month now and I haven't had any problems up until recently, where I had to do a huge amount of Windows Updates. Could that me the source of my problems?

P.S. I'm posting from my laptop, because I just cannot use my PC it's almost impossible, so I will get the dump logs and specs of my computer as soon as I can get it to work for a few minutes without me ending up crying.

Hi ParadAUX and Welcome to sevenforums I hope you'll enjoy your stay here.

Could you please provide us with a little bit more information about the computer, would really help us if you were able to get the motherboard model, keyboard and mouse model numbers, it's just really hard to know what the issue might be.

Though have you tried plugging the mouse directly into the PC rather than having it in the keyboard usb hub?
