On wendnesday night out of no where. My mouse started to act funky. What happens is that my right click would randomly work. After couple more hours, it became worse. My right click rarely worked, when it did work it was lagged.

So here's a list of things I did to try and fix it.

- Tried another mouse
- Rebooting
- Scan system with Nod 32 v4
- Clean mouse
- Reinstall drivers
Nothing worked.

What the hell is going on ? This is seriously annoying and I don't know what to do :/

(Mouse: Sidewinder x5)

Hello frustrick and welcome to Seven Forums.

You may want to take a look at these common reasons for erratic mouse behavior. Please post back if you need more help or if you find a solution (so others can benefit from your experiences.)

Mouse acting erratically or is not moving properly.

the mouse is behaving strange because of something in my system I suppose since the problem seems to be software related.

Sorry to hear you're still having issues. I know you've already scanned with NOD32 but since no product is 100% effective 100% of the time, I'd recommend doing a full scan with Malwarebytes free just to make sure something didn't slip by NOD32.

Malwarebytes : Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is a free download that removes viruses and malware from your computer

After installing, update the database and run the full scan. It could take over an hour depending on hard drive size.

If the scan comes back clean you might consider running System File Checker. SFC will attempt to verify the integrity of all protected Windows 7 system files and replace incorrect, corrupted, changed, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible.

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html

If SFC finds any problems, run the scan 3-4 times because some files cannot be repaired/replaced until other files are fixed.

thank you for the help!
However, to be honest I was way to lazy to do all those steps so instead I restored my system to a day when my PC was functioning normally and it seems as it have solved the problem, however its the same day as the problem occured so im not going to say that its officially solved.

If the problem occurs again I will try the methods that you pointed out.

Again, thanks a lot for the help!
