On a bit of the mouse cord, the sheath ripped on one side, and the wire refuses to go back into it. Should I just cut the part connecting the sheath, or should I allow the wire to stay bent? more of the wire comes out every day, and I try to force some of it back in every day. neither way seems good... i uploaded a picture

Electrical tape? Other than that, I can only recommend a new mouse.

Cut the sheath and tape it up to protect it. Won't hurt it and a couple of inches of tape is cheaper than a new mouse.
