Mouse Cursor gets bigger all of a sudden

sometimes, all of a sudden my mouse cursor gets bigger, like, twice the size. it doesn't look pixelated or edgy. it just doubles in sizes. my current work around is to go to "change how mouse pointer looks" select the aero_arrow file and hit apply. then the mouse is cursor is back to normal.

this happens 3-4 times a day which is really annoying. any solutions for this?

Go to Control Panel and go to the mouse properties. Once you're there, check to see that the scheme you prefer is selected. On the bottom of the window is a checkmark feature that says "Allow themes to change mouse pointers". If that area is check marked, this could possibly be your problem.
