mouse cursor minimizes window

In both IE Opera and yahoo messenger if the cursor touches either side or top/bottom of screen window is immediately minimized I went to Microsoft.com to reload drivers and software for my Microsoft 6000 wireless and there has been an update and it is now the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center which is installed on my computer.
Does anyone know how to correct this very aggravating behavior!

Does your mouse have more than 3 or 4 buttons?

Thanks for the reply its a 5 button Microsoft 6000 wireless mouse I did try the Aero peek thing but that isn't what happens whenever the cursor touches the edge of the monitor screen whatever browser or application is open immediately gets minimized to the task-bar. I did notice that for whatever reason Incredimail is not affected but almost everything else is.

Well I use two Microsoft 5000 and they don't do that so its probably not the mouse. Just in case you could check your settings for the mouse. It might be your Incredimail and it's little do dads. Remove it and give it a try. You can always install again if you want to.

I have used this mouse for a couple of years now with no problems I was suspecting the new Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse Center software.

Give this a try, even thought it doesn't explain your problem to the T, but its worth a shot

1. Type gpedit.msc in RUN or Startmenu Searchbox and press Enter. It'll open Group Policy Edit
2. Now Navigate to: User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Desktop
3. In right-side pane, double-click on "Turn off Aero Shake window minimizing mouse gesture" option and set its value to "Enabled".

Have you checked Windows updates. My Microsoft mouse and keyboard had updates about a week ago.
