hi
i cant seem to understand how to confirm everything plss elaborate.... its annoying to see that the blue circle thing in the mouse cursor (aero system scheme) is not rotating.. come to think this is a new laptop... i least expect to have things.. like this., i have already restore this to the manufacturers state.... then updated it.. everything is up to date... then tried also tune-up utilities if it might fix the problem... still... it lags... if i restart my computer everything would be back to where it is but after a while the same problem occurs... i tried researching about this problem.. and found some of it.. but when i troubleshoot it... the same problem still occurs.. hope u can help me.. godblesss

Make sure the pointer scheme is set to Windows Aero (system scheme).

thanks anyways

Im pretty sure you problem is ram related. y ou can confirm this by opening task manager (right click the task bar) and look at the performance tab. when you see the cirling curser look at both how much ram is free and how much cpu.

It would help if you told us about your system specs.

Solved!

I had this same issue. Co-incidentally i had this problem on my inspiron 1545 too. I dont know if it has anything to do with it though. I too first couldn't figure out what was causing this but finally found out that it was the dell touchpad causing this issue. I just uninstalled the current one and installed an older version, the one used on 1525. And it fixed this problem. The only side effect is that you cannot see the scrolling icon when you scroll using the touchpad. Hope it helps you.

Working in background mouse

I found the solution, changed the Working in back ground cursor to the same as the normal select cursor. Right click on desktop and go to personalize. Click on Change Mouse pointers and select Working in background cursor. Click browse and select normal select cursor. Worked great for me. Good Luck!!
