I'm new to the forums and I have this recent problem with my mouse. It double-clicks sometimes and it disconnects once in a while even when the USB is already inserted. Now I have a new mouse but it still does the same problems. I checked my browser, Sony Vegas, every program I had. This is getting annoying. My old mouse also used to click every once in a while when I wasn't even clicking. I think the problem is due to dust and microbes inside the mouse. This is super urgent because now the mouse doesn't click whenever I do a click and the wheel scrolls instantly whenever I do a click :(

Hmm, if your new mouse is showing the same symptoms then it is not the problem. However, check your mice (both old and new) on another PC to make sure they are not faulty.

Load defaults in BIOS.
Perform a clean startup - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorial...ation-conflicts-performing-clean-startup.html

To eliminate PC hardware fault, download and make bootable DVD/USB for Linux Mint MATE and boot with it (no need to install), see if both mice will work alright.

My mommy told me she would bring me a mouse from my friend. I seriously hope it's not the same problem :(

This does not mean "try with another mouse"!
Oh. I thought it was "try with another mouse". I'm a bit lazy anyway.
