Hello guys, I can not seem to solve this issue I am having with my optical mouse, here is whats up, whenever I plug in my mouse the red light under it is turned off and does not turn on until i pull it back and rest the mouse on my leg. This also occurred on my laptop as well. The mouse came with my computer I bought from the iBuyPower website, I can attach pictures if needed. So what do you guys think, is it time for a new mouse? Or can this issue be fixed? Thanks in advance

I would try simple thing first. Go the the manufactures website and download the latest drivers for your mouse. It may be something as simple as that.

try another mouse first. this will eliminate a fault with the mouse itself. a cheap 99c/99p one will do.
