My mouse, Logitech g502 proteus core worked fine until today when my compter started up weird, it said something about my C: drive, I instinctively ignored it and let it run so I don't have the deatails :(, but anyway the computer boots up fine and I can right click or left click for about one or two seconds after startup but right after that I cant do anything except move the cursor, running in safe mode makes it work fine, ive tried uninstalling the mouse driver in safe mode, ive tried using system restore but that always says that it failed to restore, ive plugged the mouse into a laptop and that works fine, which is how I am writing this right now :/, any help with this would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

If it was my computer I would remove the mouse driver and then reboot and let Windows pickup the driver.

If your mouse works after that check Windows Updates for a updated driver.

 "Instinctively" ignored it? Remind me never to get in a car with you! ;)

I would try another mouse on that computer. And if wireless, I would replace the batteries.

I would also scan the computer for malware.
