Hi, from today it seems my mouse is occasionally double-clicking if I click something. It is really annoying like if I want to close a browser tab and a few other tabs are being closed as well.

Yesterday I used AutoHotKey for the first time and I have a suspicion that it changed some setting somewhere. The program is not running any more (no tray icon visible) and I have rebooted since I used it.

Can anybody suggest where I could look to solve this problem?

PS: Hope its the right group, I was very unsure which was the best to post in.

There is usually a setting in the mouse properties to control the double click speed.

You can check:
Start > Control Panel > (upper right) View By: Small Icons > Select Mouse
Use the double click slider to adjust the speed.

Or you may have to open the Autohotkey program and make the double click speed adjustment from settings in there.

Or you may need to uninstall the program and do a system restore to a time before you installed it.
