Mouse Pointer Disappears off Right of Monitor Screen

My OS is Windows 7 - 64 bit. It isn't set up for dual screen display (see screen shot of resolution menu), but the pointer goes off the right side - not too far, just enough that it isn't visible. I have tried different monitors from an old CRT to a newer flat-panel one and it happens on both. Any fixes for this?

What is the model number for your mouse? Do you have another one to try?

My current mouse is a Logitec M100 optical wired to USB. The only other units I have are old trackball PS1 and I know they don't work very well.

Yes, but does the pointer for the PS1 go off screen?

It is designed this way. A quote for Quora explains it well:
The active point on the arrow shaped mouse cursor is at the top left, so to point at the bottom right pixel on the screen, you must move the mouse cursor almost entirely off the screen. When you point at the top left pixel on the screen, the entire cursor is visible.

You can make it easier to find if you are having issues by making it flash a circle around its location when you hit control I believe.

Nice explanation. However, I was of the impression that the cursor is moving off-screen on its own. Sounds like we need more details.

No, not by itself, just when I move it to the right side, it goes off screen.

I have a Logitech wireless mouse and if I move it as far right as I can, about all I can see is the left line of the arrow pointer. Never thought of it as an issue since I rarely do that. Sounds like the explanation by rvcjew applies.

It should go one pixel over from the edge to "hide" I think it was designed as apps that were borderless window but not full screen w I uld otherwise have a mouse stuck on them if viewing content.
