I have tried different mouse units but without any luck. However, when I go to:
- Devices and Printers
- USB Laser Mouse
- right click, Mouse Settings
- Hardware
there seems to be two devices showing. I am wondering if this is causing my computer some confusion on start up. The two settings are:

- USB Input Device - Human Interface device
Should one or other be deleted, so my computer is not confused or in conflict on start-up? I am not sure which setting applies to my Logitech corded mouse.
