Move dawn of War 2 save data to new PC?

I have been playing Dawn of War 2 on my XP installation but im about to make the move and leave XP behind, i have located what i believe to be the save file;
My Documents\My Games\Dawn of War 2\Saved Games\***.sav

Is this the only file i will need to move to the Win7 install or is there more to it?

I've just changed my OS to Se7en from vista and DoW doesn't recognise my vista save. If I start a new game with the same name, get aboard the armaggedon and then save, after which I replace the contents of the ****.sav with the old one it crashes when clicking "campaign" in-game. I'd very much like a solution as I was quite far along (day 60ish) with lvl 20 squads all around.
