movie maker - too many pictures for all at once

Hi! I've been working a long time on making a slideshow. I have more than 900 pictures put into it, set at rate of one picture per second. But I have found that these are too many to be able to make into a movie at a time. So I will have to put it together after making each piece into a separate movie with Movie maker. But what is the fastest way to reduce the number of pictures each time? I figure I may be able to make them first as 30-minute movies. I made one before successfully, that was 38 minutes long. :sarc: Do I have to delete all but 30 pictures each time? Or would it just be better to start over and do the whole thing over in a new empty movie maker story board? They are on this laptop computer of mine: OS Name Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium

Hi Debby, just out of interest, is it something that has got to be done in Movie Maker, or could it done in PowerPoint. Just a thought!

Its a very basic movie maker you can get the free HitFilm Express: Free editing & VFX software - fxhome.com which can handle all you can throw at it including full lenghtpro moview and plenty of tutor on Youtube

Yes I prefer Movie Maker

Yes I prefer Movie Maker, as I like the* straight layout of the pictures on the story board.* * I don't like panoramas.* * And I prefer to create my own backgrounds.*I will try out a technique I read about online today, for using the Cutting and splitting features for*using only the selection of pictures that one chooses in the storyboard. I think I may be able to Havelock that way and we'll try it out soon today.
