Does anyone knows if is it possible to move the libraries location without moving the whole appdata ?

Just to let clear, i'm not talking bout changin the location of documents, videos, etc... but about "Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Libraries".

I found a reg key for it:
{1B3EA5DC-B587-4786-B4EF-BD1DC332AEAE}

Under software : HKEY_USERS -> S-1-5-21-3273718536-3511877286-3172872559-1000 -> microsoft -> windows -> current version -> explorer -> shell folders

And changed it's value to new location, but that didn't work, so i did a search over the reg key name and found some other keys linking it to a relative path. Therefore i suspect if i really want to move libraries i need to move like... whole app data?

Hello Vbkun,

I'm not sure why you want to try and change the default location of the Libraries anyway. The files in the included folders are not stored in the library, but in the folder's original location instead. The libraries just allows you to access these files and folders from different locations in the library without changing their location.

Yes it's the libraries location i want to change ^^

It's default location is : X:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Libraries

I changed the both keys I've mentioned above to the new location, it worked partially. Windows explorer acknowledged the new location, but whenever i browse with a application to libraries, the application see the libraries under default location and not my new one. -.-
