I awhile back moved my libraries from my C:\Drive to my D:\Drive which is a completely separate disk. I did it to gain some space on my SSD. However when I click on My Music it still shows the music in there and I can access it as easy as easy as to where I moved it. Why is it still accessible from C if it is all in D now?

Hello Julio,

A library is just a collection of folders that you included in it. The included folders are not actually in the library, so it doesn't matter where you move the library to.

You can access the included folders from the library and from the folder's actual location.

That was totally brain dead question on my part. AllI had to do was click PROPERTIES on any one of the MY DOC./MY MUSIC/My PIC./MY VIDEO/ and it showed they were all located on the D drive physically which is where I wanted them. I just couldn't get through my thick head that when you click on it in the column in EXPLORER that doesn't mean that it's location is the C:drive. It's all good. Next time I will think a little before I post.

It's no problem at all. See my signature about asking questions. :)
